You would have this issue with video processor fault that is located on the mainboard of the TV.
In case TV is out of warranty it might be costly to replace that. If you decide to fix it yourself you can get service manual here:
http://www.free-service-manuals.com/cgi-bin/page.cgi?g=Detailed%2F73052.html&d=1

I would discourage you to do any changes yourself if you do not have proper electronics repair experience as this is rather complicated procedure.

In case you would need to get the part I would recommend to search that on e-bay. www.ebay.com) It might take some time to find part on e-bay but this is the best option for budget repair in case TV is not covered by warranty.

If there is still warranty on the TV you need to get it to service center srtaight away.
Let me know if you have futher questions
Thanx

This is probably the LCD Controller (T-CON) board connections. This is a small board with 2 flat cables connected to it which run to the LCD screen. The connections with the flat ribbons needs to be reseated. The heat makes the connections misaligned. This board is usually covered by a metal shield.

When you reseat the connections, run the set for 15 minutes to see if it works before replacing the back cover. You may have to reseat it again.
Remember, handle electronics boards by the edges, no static electricity, and do not touch the connection contacts.
At worst you would need a new board. (Shopjimmy.com has it for ~$90.00usd)

How do I fix an occasional black screen on a Samsung LN46B630?

Sounds like T'Con board fault. For some models of Samsung LCD TVs, this part is built in the panel, means non-replaceable. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

I want to attach digital pictures to send along with email messages but the picture files are too large. How can I rectify this issue?

What format are they stored in. I would have thought those stored in .JPG format would be ok to attach.

1) Check format of each picture, if necessary convert to .jpg or JPEG format. Most photo editing software will allow you to do this.

2) If already in .JPG format then reduce the size of photo's using photo editing software.

3) Limit the number of pictures you attach, I'd keep my emails to a max of about 5-6 Mhz. (3 pictures)
