It cannot scan and print directly, Basically, any actions from the buttons on the printer is useless.

  1. Remove the memory card from the camera.
  2. Locate the memory card slot on the product that is compatible with your memory card. NOTE: Some portable USB flash drives with a read-only partition, such as U3 smart drives, might be incompatible with the front mass storage port on your product. These partitions are added by the manufacturer and may include utilities and other software. Refer to the manufacturer for additional details about your drive.

Some computers will not acknowledge your flash cards. Depending on your flash card, your printer & computer to make sure they are compatible. Try opening your computer Icon to see if card is accepted. then click in your card to see if any file are in. You may have to load your printer software again..

HP doesn't list that specific error code, however www. dumpanalysis.org had a crash dump analysis listing that or a similar code. That means your printer has an internal error state. Check with the HP articles for error codes. You should try shutting it off for two minutes then rebooting to see if you can get it back online. 0xC2FF, & 0x0000C2FF are UTF 16 & 32 bit Hex codes indicating a memory overflow error (from what I could judge). If you are fortunate it will not be a permenant condition from hardware failure, otherwise your printer may need servicing.
