Check it in DOS to see if it has any problems, goto START, select RUN and type in CMD
u will see the DOS command prompt, in there type in
chkdsk G: /f
G: is the drive assigned to your card! (example)
that will scan your card for errors, and fix them!

It is necessary to format your phone, because system files regarding your phone boot sector seems got corrupted. There is not enough room in your RAM it leads to your phone at this status. Take important data backup, remove MMC and enter the press four keys i.e. 3.*,green send key and power on key together for sometime and hold it for sometime. Your phone screen will indicate "FORMATING". Your phone will get formatted, then switch off and on it again as usual . Remember to scan your MMC with a good anti virus before inserting it back in phone. During formating don't remove battery and do this process only with enough charged battery. You will be able to send your message then. Do vote this solution....

Memory card problem

yes it is really your memory card problem to solve that you must format your memory card by PC using memory card reader if you still can backup your images, sounds and files that is not corrupted its better backup first before you format the memory card. but if you don't have memory card reader try any internet cafe i now they have that or last is service center. ok!

peace!

Memory card

Take out the card first from the phone.
Format it using your computer's memory card reader.
Insert it back to the phone.
Go to Menu
Go to Extras
Go to Memory
Go Options
Select Format mem. card.

That should do it. You will be able to use your card again.

NOKIA 6600 HAVING PROBLEM INSERT MEMERY CARD

there r two scenarios either ur using miniSD(used in 6681 & 6630) & it not properly fitted in this case u can use clutcher(it is easily available in the market) Or if it is 6600 MMC then go to memorycard option in the main menu of ur h.set & unlock the MMC. otherwise check if mMC is corrupted
