What is the best thing to clean the screen of this TV?

Use the cheap eye glass cleaner Wal Mart sells in the eye department.  Their cleaner is safe for glass surfaces, cleans real nice, and helps repel dust.

Looks like I have a couple of flys on the inside of the screen

Dont even think of removing the screen.....virtually impossible to reinstall. If you must clean...clean the picture tubes. Blow the dust off the lenses with air spray, then spray a lint free cloth with a lcd, plasma cleaner. Try not to use windex. [leaves a film on plastic lens] . Now pay close attention because the mirror you try to clean is a reflective plastic sheet that can tear easily. Lightly brush a new feather duster on this. Now you can only do this by removing the lower back cover [a hard cardboard material] and dislocate your elbo to clean . You can clean the inside of screen with the feather duster, donot use a cleaner inside the screen or mirror. Relocate the old elbo and replce the lower back cover.

Things You’ll Need:

* Television screen cleaning products
* Cleaning schedule
* Microfiber cleaning cloth

Clean Your HDTV Screen Properly
Step1
Read the warning labels on all your household cleaning products. Even glass cleaners might not be suitable for use on an HDTV screen, so check the manufacturer's warnings before you apply anything to the screen.
Step2
Keep chemical cleaners away from your HDTV on cleaning day. The harsh chemicals found in most common cleaning products will actually cause more harm than good.
Step3
Leave liquid cleaners under your sink when cleaning your HDTV screen. A liquid cleaner, whether it be water or a chemical cleaner, will drip down the screen and work its way into the interior of the TV, causing damage to your HDTV. You will be able to easily recognize when this happens, because your screen will develop smudges.
Step4
Use a cloth to clean the HDTV screen. Ideally, you should use a cloth that is recommended for HDTV screens, computer screens and other electronics. The word "microfiber" may be imprinted on the packaging.
Step5
Wet the microfiber cloth slightly. Just a hint of dampness is all you need. If water runs out of the cloth, then it's too wet and will cause smudges.
Step6
Develop a regular cleaning schedule for your HDTV screen. If you dust the screen daily, or at least several times a week, with your microfiber cloth, no other maintenance should be necessary. Not only will frequent cleanings make caring for your HDTV easier, but they will also enhance your viewing experience.
Step7
Prevent messes by asking family members and guests not to touch the television screen. You should also try to make sure children with sticky fingers do not come in contact with the screen.
Step8
Use a high-end cleaning product if you feel that regular dusting is not sufficient. Top-of-the-line television cleaning products are ideal for use on all HDTV screens, plasma screens, projectors and are safe to use around children and animals.

Clean the screen.

I highly recommend using an LCD screen cleaner occasionally to remove dust and debris that can collect over time - I use this on both my computer and television:

Monster Screen Cleaner

Hope that helps.

Cleaning plasma screen

I wouldn't use the screen cleaner as I have seen it discolor the Front panel of the plasma before. Then the panel needs to be replaced.
Just put a small amount of water on a VERY soft clothe and clean it like you would a window. Do not spray onto screen as that can cause problems.

Can not remove a dirty water blot stain from screen on a HDTV screen. Tryed to clean off but can not remove.

You have to be careful when cleaning HDTV screens- some (like LCDs) are sensitive to pressure and should you press hard enough you could effectively crush the electronics in that part of the screen and turn them into an irreversible black spot.

Personally, when I have to clean my screens, I buy commercial screen cleaner and a pack of disposable lint free cloths. Spray the cleaner on the screen, then wipe it with the cloth. Don't use a lot of spray (one pump at a time) and make sure you do this when the screen is off and let it dry completely (about 1-5 min) before turning it back on.

NEVER EVER EVER SCRAPE ANYTHING OFF A FLAT PANEL SCREEN OF ANY TYPE!!
