Question about Yamaha CDX-560 CD Player
I want to build an HTPC out of an old CD receiver (similar to the mod project on http://www.byopvr.com/Sections+index-req-viewarticle-artid-11-page-1.html)
I have access to several old receivers in a used-parts shop, but I don't really know where to start:
- are all receivers generally the same size?
- How do I choose the best receiver (in terms of dimensions, location of CD tray etc.)?
- Can I fit a mini ATX board inside?
- how about the PSU? will it fit?
Will appreciate any help or reference.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Any unit this old is what we call Not Economically Repairable - or cheaper to replace than repair. It all depends on how much it bugs you.
