Question about Alpine Car Audio & Video

Video image wont show. safety warning.

I have installed a car stereo. the head unit is JVC mod.KD-DV6105. this unit is also a DVD player. i have also installed an Alpine screen mod.CVA-1000e. The head unit and screen are both working. However i cant get a video image on the screen. it says something about a safety warning. There is a green wire coming from the head unit which says it needs to go to hand break. I have been told if this wire is sent strait to earth that it will allow me to view video image with the car in motion. advice on this problem or wiring diagram for both units would be a great help. thanks

Grounding the brake wire will allow you to view video while driving but may require an sequence (on off on or whatever it calls for) to turn on video playback so i suggest grounding the wire and putting a small toggle switch on the wire. i have done this in many cars during my strent as a professional car audio installer

some dvd players require a sequence( a series of ground, open, ground maybe) to turn on the video playback also it is ILLEGAL to play video while driving in view of the driver in all states so if you get pulled over you can turn off the video

Parking brake keeps flashing on my kd-avx2 car dvd player

Check to ensure the wire to your parking brake is grounded. You can also set a dead ground on the cable and the head unit will think you have the parking brake enabled at all times.

Another way to bypass park break check

While installing stereo just connect e-brake wire directly to ignition wire (as far as I remember - yellow wire in standard ISO connector) So it is some cheat - stereo will think, that you are always using parking breaks. Do not forget about your safety :)

Bluetooth wont connect, phone will find it but will say error

I'm facing the same problem. I had paired it with SE C902. Even after I reset the panel head & even after disconnecting the car batteries, the pairing for the SE C902 does not get deleted. It detects the BB9700, tries to pair & then shows an error. Is there any solution to this or do I need to throw the KD-AVX 33 out of the window & buy a new stereo? JVC......Please explain this problem or be ready to face the legal music, as I intend to file a damage case against you for fooling people into buying a stupid product.!!!!!

Connecting iPod to JVC KD-LH810!?!

Hi, KD-LH810 has no option for external input. Refer to the picture attached. It is only front and rear line outputs. Don't get disappointed. Buy the accessory cable KS-U100 and you are set. This info is from the installation manual.
