Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Weres the comand key

If you use a non-Apple keyboard that includes a Windows key, the Altkey is the same thing as pressing Option, and the Windows key is the same thing as the Command key. You can change how these keys are interpreted from the Keyboard pane of System Preferences.

Hi, Solution 1: You can change the keyboard layot from the control panel Solution 2: Try the combination Shift+' button next to the Enter or try all the keys with Shift combination and find the @.

Some of the keys of my lenovo G450 laptop are not working.what to do now?

Hello
What may have happened is that when you grabbed it, the pressure could have broken a trace (printed wire) on the printed circuit board in the keyboard. Usually the way a keyboard works is by making a matrix of switches where, for example, "a", "z", "q", "1", "`", and "tab" could be on one column and "z", "x", "c", etc are on one row. Pushing the "z" key makes a connection between the the corresponding row and column, and the keyboard's microcontroller interprets that as a keypress on the "z" key. If you've broken the connection to the "qaz" column, the microcontroller will never know that you've pressed one of those keys. Replacing the keyboard will give you a new microcontroller and circuit board, so you should be good to go!
Do rate the solution if helps
Good Luck

Sir, My keyboard is not properly working it's 1,esc,tab key is not working please sir solve my problem.

If the keyboard driver is not at fault, replacing it is the only sensible option since the replacement cost can be under $10 US and no one can repair them for that. Since it consistently affects a few keys, the integrated circuit that interprets the key-presses has likely failed.

Please do the following:

I had the same problem. When I pressed shift and that comma key I got a " instead of a @.

I looked to see what on the leyboard you normally press to get a " and that's the number 2 key.

Tried pressing shift and the 2 key and hey presto, I got a @.

So it looks like @ and " have swapped places.

So shift and 2 for a @!

Compaq laptop can't get the ? symbol

Hi,

Looks like the French keyboard mapping is still in effect.
You can try changing the keyboard keys back to where they were by pressing:

Left CTRl + left Shift at the same time. then try typing the ?/ key. You may have to try this a couple of times to get it to work.

If it does work, try the right ctrl/left shift key.

Also found this:

Control Panel, Regional and Language Options, Keyboards and Languages,
Change Keyboards. Select the keyboard you that's causing you grief and
choose Remove.

If you don't remove the keyboard map, when this switch happens, you'll have
to exit the application you're in (Outlook, for example), change keyboards,
and restart the app. Changing keyboards without restarting the app doesn't
seem to change the mapping.

Hope this helps!

Logitech mouse problem

I assume there is no second mouse on the system and you are using keyboard commands. Try the following in the device manager..
  1. Press Control-Esc or press the Windows key on your keyboard to bring up the Start menu.
  2. Using the up arrow key, highlight "Settings."
  3. Right arrow key to "Control Panel" and press the enter key.
  4. Use the arrow keys to highlight the System icon and press the Enter key.
  5. Use the right arrow key to select the Device Manager tab. (For Windows XP/2000 , use the right arrow key select the "Hardware" tab. Now use the tab key, select the "Device Manager" button and press the enter key.)
  6. Use the "Tab" key to select the "Computer Icon" at the top of the list of device icons.
  7. Use the down arrow key to highlight the Mouse icon.
  8. Use the right arrow key to open the mouse icon and verify there is a mouse icon that states, "HID-compliant mouse," and another entry that states the name of your USB device.
  9. If there are any errors reported on these icons by exclamation points or red X's, highlight these icons using the arrow keys and "Tab" to the "Remove" button and press the enter key. (For Windows XP/2000 , highlight these icons using the arrow keys and then press Alt-A keys. From the "Action" menu, highlight "Uninstall" and press the enter key.) When the "Confirm Device Removal" box appears, press the enter key.
  10. Once these icons have been removed, use the Tab key to get to the "Refresh" button and allow Windows to re-detect the pointing device. (If u r using Windows XP/2000 , press the Alt-A keys. From the "Action" menu, select "Scan for hardware changes" and press the Enter key.)
  11. Use the arrow keys to open the Mouse icon again and verify that there are no errors reported.
  12. Power down the computer system and restart Windows.
