If this FAE was displayed after connecting device to Windows, try a factory reset. On my S80 you hold down power on button for 5 secs. Hope this helps !! John

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Here's a link to this great service

Good luck!

I have the same problem, no SD card in, Jungle Ghost, the problem is not being able to get to the menu as the application error screen just hangs up on the splash screen. this also happened to me when updating via application manager.

I have contacted Magellan support also and they are not responding.

Fatal exception error on shut down - VXD VWIN32

you need to start in safe mode and remove your video drivers. Hopefully you have a win98 disk to get the drivers off of. Remove drivers and restart, it will then recognise that the drivers are gone let it ask for drivers and let it find them automatically and install them. Then see what happens

Fatal error, unable to open application database

Have you tried the reset button? It would be found on the lower right side on the rear panel. Don't really know if this will fix your particular problem, but it might be worth a shot.
