    Thanks

    mod WBXR2060V1WW

the washer starts and click on the cycles but skips the agitating and the spinning. Just fills the tank with water 2 times and 2 times also drains it out

  • nicobacasr May 23, 2009

No it does not drains while filling. It actually clicks on every cycle refilling tank during second cycle and that all it does

  • nicobacasr May 24, 2009

I tried solution 1 and the lid switch is there and looks like it is working but does not shut off the process of filling the tank nor the draining.

If I go for solution #2, do you know if there any parts stoers open oon Sundays?

Hi. your timer assembly is faulty. it is not initiating the spin and proper wash cycle due to this malfunction. the timer is responsible for the actions and commands. if its defective, it will not carry out the initiations correctly.

Depending on where you live, you may be able to purchase a timer for your unit at a local Lowe's or home depot i suppose. i know, in my general area, Lowe's and home depot are open till 6pm ctr..

You can also click the link provided above to order your timer on line if you chose.

HI, Does it drain while filling? Check the drain hose and make sure it is higher then the level of the water in the machine.
Please let me know so I can assist you further.

Thanks
Vic

It is possible the lid switch. While it is filling, try and lift the lid to see if the water shuts off. Try the same when it is draining. Let me know if it shuts off in either case please. look where the lid switch actuator goes into the hole and see if the lid switch lever is there.

These are ideas to start with.

Washer wont agitate, pops breaker

Could be the gears/transmission for the agitate cycle are jammed, the motor then freezers, creates an overload and the breaker pops.

Agitator doesn't agitate. Fills, spins and drains

Unfortunately, that sounds like a transmission issue. Power is getting to the trans, or it wouldn't spin, but the other part of the trans that causes agitation is broken.

Washer drains then spins then fills again and drains but no spin

Try this, unplug washer for two minutes, plug back in, open and close lid seven times slowly, this will reset the computer and the electronic motor. Also on water level switch, make sure hose from switch to tub is not plugged, blow it out, gets clogged with soap.

Fills, does not agitate, drains, spins, fills, does not agitate, drains, spins

grab the agitator at the base and give it a quick push upward..remove and see if the white dome with bolt holding it down is stripped on the inside where it splines onto the transmission shaft. :)
