SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

My Packard Bell switches on but the screen stays blank

The first thing you need to do is shut off the laptop. The next step you should take is to disconnect the power cord and remove the battery. You should then hold the power button for 20 seconds. You can now reconnect the battery. You should now power it on and it should hopefully turn on. If this does not fix the issue you should use the FN key and hit any of the "F" keys that look like a screen. If this does not work you may need to contact Packard Bell for further support.

Phone Screen background light is off on Vista 200 and Vista 100

My best solution so far:I power cycled (unplugged the power supply) with the phone line cord unplugged and waited a couple of minutes, repowered and plugged line cord back in.
Light now back ON
I not sure the extent of settings that are retained on a power down. I did have a couple of incoming caller IDs that were still there after powering back up.
There's a better 'manual' than the one that TELUS issued (really I believe that all the branded variants of this phone just came with quad folded instruction card) here at this link:

Packard bell easy note tj65 will not power up

the short cable running from the power button to the main board has probably snapped where it passes over the RH hinge. remove the screen surround to gain access to the power on switch area and check. it would seem to be a common fault with the packard bell

Packard Bell easynote wont even turn on, power & loading lights light up green, but screen remains blank. Fan kicks in and so does the disk drive. Is using windows Vista

one thing that can cause display to fail completely even at the bios stage is a ram block. try removing the memory sticks and placing them back in. this has worked for me a number of times

Vista 390 Extension in Use problem

I had this exact same problem. First to thing to check is that all other equipment is functioning; it is possible that the receiver on a fax machine has been knocked off its cradle.
Also the wires at your jack should be tested.

It was intermittent. It took a few years, but we finally connected the fact that this only happened after there had been considerable rainfall outside. (... I know!) The Bell repairman was able to determine from outside that the problem was not inside; he had me disconnect each and every piece of equipment and he checked the strength of the signal after each one was removed.

Then he told us the truth; our line was strung up as a 'temporary' line back in 1985!! Bell was replacing trunk lines on city streets to improve a decaying infrastructure and would have replaced all temporary and fraying wires as each street was upgraded. But - according to the repairman who has been with Bell for decades - Bell stopped the upgrade projects in favour of putting the funds into competing with Rogers and the internet. Their philosophy since then has been to make temporary repairs to provide a phone connection no matter how bad, and regardless of how many times they have to make service calls. There are literally tens of thousands of customers who are receiving bad service out there, because a) their main line has been 'temporarily' spliced into a neighbour's existing line, even tho' they all pay full service rates!, and .... b) thousands of street-long trunk lines have frays in them that short out in the rain, scrambling service for everyone along that line, to some degree, but there is currently no one working on system upgrades. There would have to be literally scores of complaints along a particular street for Bell to even think of upgrading the trunkline.

As soon as we had a permanent phone line installed, the 'extension in use' problem stopped.

So please have the outside wires checked out and ask the repairman questions about the condition of the actual lines.

Try another screen saver for starters. If another screen saver works than the Vista screen saver may be missing from within the Windows directory.

Cordless phone 25881

Sounds like a power problem.
This model of phone will work as a regular corded phone when no ac power is available.
IE the cordless function is only available when you have electricity.
- is the ac adapter plugged into a working outlet.
- is the ac adapter working.
- is the ac adapter pluged into the base.

hope this helps
