Question about Sony STR-DE695 Receiver
I just changed my dvd player to a 5 disk changer and in the process I changed the inputs from the dvd player to the receiver to component video and digital audio. It worked fine the first day, but on the second day all the speakers started to pop randomly. It started out as a minor nusiance but got to the point where the only sound that could be heard was the popping. Suddenly the sound came back as if nothing happened and worked for awhile but then the popping came back, but only every so often and only for about 30 seconds each time.
Sounds like the digital input and the component input are casing inteference , try removing the component video and see what happens
