Question about Acer 91.AB370.001 Network Adapter
Trying to connect to interent using new inst xp pro need to install driver for ethernet controller
There are several ways to identify the interface, the easiest is to refer to the manual for the chip or motherboard you have installed.
Assuming this isn't possible, there are many freeware or shareware apps that do an excellent job - a
couple of reputable apps are "Belarc Advisor" - http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html and "Everest" - http://www.lavalys.com/products.php?ps=UE&lang=en&page=48
There are many others; I have no affiliation with any developers and my advice is based purely on personal experience.
