This TV has been unused for awhile, when we took it out of the closet to put in my workshop we found that the VChip password had never been cleared. Unfortunately, I have slept since then and have no idea what it was. Is there a master reset for either it or the entire TV?

- Unfortunately, the code had been set prior to being stored to keep the kids off of late night movie channels. I have tried every 4 digit code that I have ever used before, I must be some sort of evil genius.... I chose a code that even I can't break.Same Problem

Here's your answer - Hold the down volume control on the TV. Then press the remote # 0. This will bring up the reset password menu. Then reset the password. We need a kid to solve are problems. FWL

I used the TV i purchased for six months before the remote control stop working and i purchased it from hh-greg, when the remote stop working i decided to buy philips universal remote now the battery came out when i put it back in it asked me to set the remote control code, i don't remember the code.
please let me know if there is anything you can help me with as far as getting me the code # to the philips remote control or you can replaced it for me?
