Need gas/oil mix for Homelite 330 10604A, HJ

To the best of my recollection the 330 is an older model saw and should be running about a 16:1 ratio. 8oz. of oil to 1 gallon of fuel. Hope this helps.

Note: You're always better being a bit richer (lower ratio) than you are leaner (higher ratio).

Just got a homelite 33cc 14 inch chain saw, do you mix gas and oil on this chain saw?

Yes you do! The ratio is 50:1 fuel to oil. Be sure to use a modern synthetic saw oil available at home centers, hardware stores, and saw dealers. Be sure to use fresh fuel and mix the two in it's own container. Be sure to shake the container thoroughly each time just before refueling to prevent oil starvation in the engine. Don't make up more than one gallon at a time unless sawing is your business. Hope this helps!

Homelite ut 10695 spark plug gap, gas oil ratio?

Gap the plug at 0.020", and the fuel to oil ratio is 50:1. Be sure to use a modern synthetic saw oil, fresh fuel, and mix in it's own container (don't make up more than a gallon at a time unless your business is sawing). Be sure to shake the container thoroughly each time just before adding fuel mix to the tank to prevent oil starvation. Hope this helps!

XL UT # 10655A Serial # HL1490086 XL 2 Serial # 40152376 Recently bought these 2 saws and have gotten 3 answers for the gas/oil mix. Can you tell me what is the right mix??

Run what ever fuel/oil mix you are comfortable with. A run lean condition is most often caused by an undetected air leak leaning out the mixture to failure. A couple of ounces of 2-cycle oil will not prevent its occurrence. If an owners manual (OM - I tried) is ever located it likely says 32:1. Most modern saws recommend 50:1:

Oil Mix Ratio:

In the early to mid 90s Dolmar, Echo, efco, Homelite, Husqvarna, Jonsered, Makita, Oleo-Mac, Red Max, Ryobi, Shindaiwa, Solo, Spear

Fuel Ratio

40:1 is about right. Be sure to use modern synthetic oils made for saws and premix thoroughly before adding to the saw.

I have a 3300 homelite chainsaw 16'bar,what is the oil,gas ratio?

This should run well with 40:1 ratio using modern synthetic saw oils only. Always premix the fuel and oil in a can before adding to the saw, then agitate the saw to mix the old with the new. Hope this helps!

The answer to your question can be found here:
Chain Saw Collectors Corner
http://www.acresinternet.com/cscc.nsf
Click "Chain Saws", then "next page" once, cursor down and select "HOMELITE CORPORATION", keep selecting "next page" until you find your model. A "MIX OIL SPECIFICATION:" appears on the page. the listings on these pages are not alpha numeric. ABC often follows XYZ and 25 precedes 10.
2 cycle oil technology has improved since this saw was purchased. I use Stihl 2-cycle Engine Oil to operate a Pioneer I bought new 1980. My manual says 24:1. It was operated at 32:1 for many years, the last 5± it runs at 50:1. I suggest you run it operate at the mixture recommended by the OIL supplier. HTH
