Maintanance RM 125, my first bike just want to know what to keep up on as far as Year round maintanance. just don't want it to fall apart and become junk

• First, keep it clean. It will run cooler, last longer, look better and be less hassle to service.
• Keep the chain lubricated.
• Install a new plug in early summer. NGK,R6918B-8
• Flush the coolant in early summer. Be alert for any external water leaks and internal water leaks. If the gear oil looks milky you have a leak. Normally this is a water pump seal and easy to fix.
• If a battery is in use, maintain water level in the battery to keep the plates covered. If you are to use a battery charger, use only a 1amp trickle charger for two hours..
• Change gearbox oil, (10w40 motor oil) in the spring, mid summer and early fall. Clean the air filter and lube the cables with liquid graphite on the same schedule..
• Run the engine for five to ten minutes once a week in the winter.
• Use premium gas and turn the fuel petcock, (gas valve), off when the bike is not in use. Install an in-line fuel filter.
• In the spring, mid summer and early fall, drain the carburetor. There should be a plug on the bottom of the carb float bowl. Remove the plug then replace it after the fuel drains. This will keep the carb clean and eliminate condensed water in the fuel system.
  

Regularly change the engine oil every 1500 km or every 2\3 months whenever required, and also regularly check the tyre air presure \,that will help your bike to give a good mileage, regularly get a check up for your bike
