SOURCE: Can I glue the torn edge of my treadmill belt?

I would question why it traveled to the right and cause you grief. Before anything else run the unit and see if its going travel to the right again if it does then check right end cap for breakage. To your first question no you cannot glue the belt they use a high temperature gluing process for the seams you'll have unfortunately replace the belt.

I'm sorry to say that the belt is toast and needs to be replaced. I would also check the end caps I believed it is a one piece unit that the belt tension bolt is attached and the left side had cracked and cause this problem. Double check that all connections are secure, especially the console cable. Unplug and reconnect the console cable to verify.
Unplug treadmill from wall outlet. Wait 60 seconds, allowing lower board to discharge built-up energy.
Remove motor cover.
Verify that there are no lights lit on the lower circuit board.
Verify that all wires are securely and correctly placed on the lower circuit board, especially the large wire harness on the top of the circuit board with 12 different colored wires coming out of it.

How do I know if I need a new roller in the back?

Your problem may be as simple as a loose walking belt. It could also be that the belt guides on the underside of the deck is too wide. Ir could also be that your rear roller collapsed (there should be noise in this case) or your rear roller screw is broken or not holding tension for some reason. Try adjusting the belt again. Consider that the belt will move to the side of least resistance so if you tighten the left side the belt will move right and vise versa. Good luck. We found leaking oil underneath one side of the lifting arms on our Tuntuiri walking machine. We thought it was coming out of the lifting arm shockies or arm somewhere. What can we do? Sophia

Its normal. Its the silicon lubricant used to lubricate the treadmill belt. If there is excessive lubricant it will spill out. Don't worry about it. It will become normal within days. just wipe off the excessive lubricant coming out.Its coming out from the running base under the running belt.

I have a ET-388 threadmill. however when i walk or run on the machine the sound is very heavy. can you tell me what is wrong of is it normal?

Its time to lubricate your treadmill.
You must obtain the proper lubricant for your treadmill. There are several different types. Contact your manufacturer for what type is needed. Using the manufacturer provided allen wrench, loosen the walking belt approximately 10 full turns on each side of the rear roller. Apply approximately 1/2 ounce of lubricant directly in the middle of the walk area underneath the walking belt upon the deck. Retighten the rear roller 10 turns on each side. Run the treadmill at 6.0 mph for 2-3 minutes to spread the lubricant evenly. Wipe excess lube from the sides of the belt. Walk on treadmill to check for proper tension on belt.

How do i get the belt to stay inline? it keeps sliding to the side causing it to 'fold' when i rotates.

On both ends of one of the rollers are adjustment or takeup screws. You may need a screwdriver or open end or allen wrench to adjust them. If the belt is moving toward the right, adjust the right side of the rollers to be farther apart (if I'm not mistaken). This should cause the belt to walk to the left. Run the machine and watch for belt movement. If the belt is tightening too much, adjust the left side to make the rollers closer together. These adjustments are best made while the belt is running, but BE CAREFUL!

Walking belt folds

It sounds like one of the adjusted bolts or endcaps that adjusts the walk belt is broken, look at the bolts where you adjust and see if the side the belt is shifting to is broken. It may have ruined the belt also but you wont be able to tell till you correct the tracking problem.

I need help adjusting the belt on the trimwalk manual treadmill

To tighten the belt, start by locating the two bolts that adjust the rear roller (one on each side of the unit in the back). Run the unit at about 3 mph. Tighten the bolts a 1/4 turn at a time. Make sure that what you do to one side, you MUST do to the other side or the belt will get off center. After you tighten it 1/4 turn, check the belt to see if it is still slipping. If it is then tighten the belt 1/4 turn again. Continue until the belt does not slip, but do not tighten the bolts more than 2 full turns.
