Question about HP LaserJet 2840 All-In-One Printer
I'm using Readiris software to scan documents because the HP scanning software which was the software originally installed with the all-in-one has not worked in quite some time. Anyway, I can scan letter size documents fed through ADF and it reads it perfectly but when I scan a legal size document, two inches of the bottom of the document are not scanned. The settings are correct on the Readiris and in fact I contacted Readiris and they said that it was a machine issue not software. I contacted HP and they said it is designed to scan legal documents. If someone is familiar with the HP Laserjet 2840 and knows how to set it up to scan legal I would greatly appreciate the help. The owners manual does not go into any detail when it pertains to scanning. Thanks for any suggestions.
