My B&o 3200 has a problem with the cd player. the load button opens and closes the load ddor but it seems not to recognise the cd and then just sticks in cd mode and no other buttons will operate.the only way to get out of cd mode is to cut the power. everything else is working fine. Any ideas?
Laser is out. Can you open device and see if there is a TINY red dot on the laser lens? You may have to defeat safety sensors to get laser to turn on without a CD or door being closed. Careful, you dont want to look straight into the lens line of sight to the CD, look at it off to the side. A darker room helps. If the laser is out or even out of focus, it wont read CD and may confuse device in a search loop. Generally, the laser diode is replaceable but only as a unit that has been calibrated. Look for a parts B&O 3200 that has other damage and remove the farm the laser head from that. They are modular and should plug right in.

First of all, you aren't going to like this solution because it's the truth. If you rate me poorly, it's because you don't understand the truth. The optical pickup is bad and needs to be replaced. Anything made by Xtreme sound is poorly built. Yes, you're lucky to have even gotten four months use out of it. I've seen some that only last for two months and they die. Fortunately, that's why you didn't pay that much for it. I would suggest getting a Pioneer in the future.

Yuo didnt mention if it was used or new,. If it was new I wouldnt mess with the unit and take it in under warranty, as there is no quicky fix for this one. Its going to turn out to be a problem with the disc motor servo circuit or the microprocessor. Good Luck

Seems like the Timingfor the Tray Open / close has got disturebed. Could be a bad drive gear, or as simple as a loose Drive belt. Get it checked by a professional.
SOURCE: Hold mode always on, works fine otherwise.
heres what i found "Depending on when you bought it, Apple might fix it or you will need to. or you can try opening the nano up with a pocket knife and try to do it yourself. if you try to open it, open from the top left.
Within 1 year: Apple will
Outside that: you will.
Now, if you have AppleCare then you are fine. Dial the phone!
Call apple anyway, just to see if they have any ideas..."

I heard of that problem, it could be your charger circuit and it could be your battery. There's a interesting forum post on this at www.newmp3technology.com: http://www.newmp3technology.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=700
But here's something else: I'll buy your xs202s if you want.. :)
For a reasonable defect-price.
I have one but the display is broken.
Had no luck trying to find that obscure 2" 128x128 backlit greyscale korean display in the IC-market here in Europe.
