Do the any of the lights (NumLock, CapsLock, ScrlLock) ever work? If they work, then at least you know the keyboard is getting power. If the lights don't ever work, then it's probably broken.

ESource USB keyboard. Why does it type duplicate letters?

Have you installed any (included) software for the keyboard? If you haven't, install the software and see if it works properly. If you have the software installed already, try to uninstall it and see if it works without it. If neither of that doesn't work, uninstall software and drivers altogether (via Device Manager) and restart the PC. The computer should recognise the keyboard by itself. After this: check that there are no driver conflicts (no yellow exclamation marks) in Device Manager.

Code 37 error

Hi,

Try to disconnect the wirless kb & mouse then uninstall completely. Likewise remove all entries of the Logitech wireless kb & mouse in your registry. Reboot your PC and do a complete Disk Cleanup. In your Device Manager, verify that it no longer shows even under the "Show Hidden Devices". Reboot again and reinstall.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Toshiba Satellite A65-S126 keyboard no longer works

If you have the disk or driver for keyboard then reload it.
If not then use the mouse and click on the Start button, use the mouse's right button on Computer (My Computer). Select Manage. When the Computer Management console appears, Select Device Manager. Expand the Keyboard Section. Right Click on your computer name and select Scan for hardware changes.
If this fails to reload the driver then right click on the keyboard item that says Unknown and select Update Driver Software.

I can't get half of my omnitech flexible keyboard to work

if its a usb keyboard you might need a PS2 usb keyboard adapter they are cheap you can purchase one on Ebay or your closest computer outlet for 2 - 3 dollars

Click start control panel keyboard hardware make sure you have the right keyboard selected
or you might have uninstall the keyboard then restart your computer then reinstall it and its drivers
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to keyboard you might see a yellow question /exclamation mark ? ! or a red X right click update driver
if your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it

rather doing a driver hunt which can take hours

http://download.cnet.com/slimdrivers-free/3000-18513_4-75279940.html

My wireless mouse is working fine, but my wireless keyboard is not. I tried pushing the connect button on the back but it didn't help.

Every device has a piece of software called driver. Without driver no hardware can function as desired. Therefore, go to device manager and see whether the wireless keyboard driver is functional. If it is not then it will show up with a yellow question mark. Then insert the driver disk into the drive and right click on the yellow question mark and select upgrade driver and locate the driver disk and install it. To go to device manager do the following:
right click on the My Computer icon and select Manage option.

My sony VGN N220E does not detect external devices

Try reinstalling your usb ports.

1. goto desktop, right click on my computer and press manage.
2. goto the device manager, find the usb devices / ports.
3. Make sure you are useing a ps2 mouse / keyboard since if your mouse/keyboard is connected to usb they will stop working untill your pc is restarted and the devices are reinstalled.
4. Uninstall all usb devices.
5. after all usb devices are uninstalled reboot the pc.

If the problem is with your drivers ( your pc detects the mp3 player but no drivers found) Download the newest drivers for your product and operateing system from the vendors website.
