Check all the connections first and primarily to the source of what your watching ex. the connection to a DVD player, nd see if any of the connections are loose, if thats not it then check the power source and cable to the TV plug in. if possible try plugging it in to another outlet and see if that may help the problem, if the problem still occurs then it could be an internal problem which will result in either professional repair or replacement of the TV

Sva monitor model 2400w-bd. have two set up and one keeps going to a black screen after a few min of being on. turn power off and turn back on and screen returns. this is a constant and very annoying...

Your monitor is suffering an overheat condition due to the switcher internally working too hard and overheating, shutting down the switching supply. Replace the electrolytic caps on the board with new low esr ones and you should see this problem go away.

Remote stuck--can't change channel or turn off TV

Pull out the power plug of your TV and don't use it for few minutes. Remove batteries from your remote and keep it without batteries for few minutes. After about 15 minutes your TV and remove both will work fine.

SVA HD4208 PLASMA PANEL TV.

SVA is a manufacturer based out of China. Their headquarters is based in LA California. They specify in affordable plasmas and LCD's which are typically a generation or so behind other LCD manufacturers or plasma manufacturers. I have heard of this issue both in the power cord and internal parts of the TV's. Is it still under warranty? Otherwise, you can purchase another power cord. Contact the manfuacturer for those small parts.
