Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

WinFax Pro isn't listed in add/remove programs. Why not?

If you don't see "WinFax PRO" or "Symantec WinFax PRO" in your Add/Remove programs listing, this indicates a. You don't have it installed (or you uninstalled it) or removed the program entry from the Add/Remove Programs List or b. You have a partial, or corrupt installation. Visit http://www.getfaxing.com/forums if you have specific questions on WinFax PRO.

I just reinstalled winfax pro 10, it is not in the all programs, but it is in the computer. I am running Windows XP Home edition 5.1.2600 SP3. what do i do?

Go to the program files folder where WinFax is installed, either in Symantec\WinFax or WinFax. Find the file WTNSETUP.EXE.
Run this and go through the setup. It should create the necessary shortcuts and program menu items for you once completed. http://www.getfaxing.com/winfax

I would suggest you use the normal method to uninstall your Norton Anti-Virus instead of using the Norton Removal Tool. If you still have problems, then just reinstall Norton Anti-Virus and then uninstall using the Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel. Once you do that, then you can install your CA software. WinFax has notthng to do with your Anti-Virus not working, or your CA. The WinFax problem only is a problem because of Norton's Removal Tool is flawed. Don't use it. http:/www.getfaxing.com/winfax

CANT FIND WFXUNIST.ISU TO UNINSTALL WIN FAX PRO

HI.

Best bet is to use the Norton Removal Tool. It can be downloaded at:

Norton Removal Tool

Make sure you back up your database before uninstalling. If you don't plan on a reinstall, that's not a problem.

Download the file...Save it to your Desktop, don't run it from the download. After the download is complete, run (double-click) the file on the desktop.

NOTE: This will uninstall ALL Norton products. If you have others you will need to reinstall them. Make sure you have a legitimate CD Key and are registered at Symantec.

Thanks for using Fixya.

I have Winfax 4.0 and Winfax 10.0. I would like to add the cover pages from the earlier edition to the 10.0 program. Is there any way to do this; the files have different extensions--i.e., cvp versus cvl...

There is no guarantee that a WinFax PRO 4.0 cover page file will function properly in WinFax PRO 10, but if you contact www.getfaxing.com we may be able to convert any WinFax PRO 4.0 cover pages providing you have the entire cover page file and any graphic images that are included with them.

MusicMatch Jukebox will not open. Trying to uninstall using Add/Remove programs (in Windows XP)gives the error: File uninst.isu missing or corrupt. Trying to install from the ''Dell Applications Already...

Firstly, you should try un-installing the old (corrupted one) with Revo Uninstaller (available from: www.revouninstaller.com).

Afterwards, go to this link, and install the latest version:

Cannot uninstall WinFax Pro 10 even after doing manual uninstall.

For the next 12 hours you can download for free cleanse UnInstaller Pro At Giveaway of the Day. Install it and then keep attacking every bit of Symantec you find on your computer. You may have to go back several times and keep on deleting more pieces of the programs that were there but this truly works. It's the only program I found so far that could get rid of WinFax Pro including the stuff provided by Norton. Good luck

Winfax pro problem

This is a solution that was suggested for an earlier edition of the Winfax Pro, but there is no reason why it shouldn?t work on this one as well: 1. Close Winfax and any other program that has anything to do with it, delete all the temp files that yo don?t need. 2. Run Scandisk and fix any problems that may come up. 3. Run delfix.exe which is located in the winfax folder in the status files. 4. Run delfix-rebuild and delfix-optimize and check if the problem is solved. If the problem reoccurs there is another possibility- to change the name of the WinFax\data folder and create a new one which you will transfer the address book file, status files etc. from the old folder. Note that there might be some information that wouldn?t go through.
