Question about Norelco Rechargeable Cordless Men's Razor - Black/Gray
I would like to change the batteries on my 5825XL & I got new batteries and took the back off and I can't get the old batteries out?? Are they soldered in place & how do I replace them? Thank you in advance for your time.
Replacing the batteries is not an easy job. You need to have a special Torx screwdriver to undo the screws.
The batteries are soldered onto the Control Board (it's unfortunately not just a case of cracking open the case and putting in batteries in an instant). The batteries inside are 600mAh.
It may be worth speaking to your local Philips Service Center (refer to www.philips.com)
I usually recommend if you're replacing a shaver to spend a little more $$'s to get one that is mains and rechargeable so that when the batteries die, the shaver is still useable.
