I take it the device is either auto or manual. If it uses batteries, they may be exhausted. Or, there is a valve that may be open. It looks like a shiny metal thing near the bulb. Or that valve might be defective, and it just doesn't shut properly. If that's the case, it should hiss a little bit.

The hose might not be screwed together tightly. There are inexpensive, accurate wrist cuffs for blood-pressure monitoring that work very well. If none of this works, you might pick up one of those.

because it's a click on and off button sometimes the contact starts to ware off try pressing down and at the same time with your thumb gently rub the button in any circular motion as if trying to feel for the contac.

My bp monitor 04-203-001. Inflation bulb doesn't inflate after I squeeze it, fast enough to build up enough pressure for a reading. Bad release valve maybe. Need cheap fix..

The valve is the problem.The valve release the pressure quickly so when you squeeze it gets released.You have to just take apart the valve.There is no need for change of valve.Keep some thin paper at the tip of the valve screw and turn the valve.Check the bulb is properly closed.

I need replacements for the bulb of my eckerd


I have the book for the Sunbeam Model 7622. It lists a toll-free number as 800-394-2326 with the price for the replacement bulb as $2.95. It may be higher now as the 7622 was purchased in 1997

My bulb deflates after one squeeze.


you may want to check to see if the holes is connected tightly to the cuff on both ends and you need to check the bulb if it has a knob on it because some bulbs have numbers on them which can be set to release air and you want to make sure that it has a proper setting on and if that is not it then you may need a new bulb, i did. i hope this works for you and good luck!
