Question about HP DeskJet F4280 All In One Printer InkJet
My all-in-one has stopped scanning. The HP Solution Center tells me "No HP devices have been detected. Solution Center will now close." The print/copy functions work fine. I spent 1 1/2 hours on a chat session with HP, but they were unable to help me. How can I get the scanning function back???
NOTE: Windows XP does not give system resource information in the System information window. Skip to Step 3 if using Windows XP.

Tips for a great answer:
Use the HP Solution Center Software provided with your HP Printer.
You can also download the software from www.hp.com
The software will give you instructions on how to save the images.
It is all about finding the folders, usually with filename scan0000, scan0001, and so on.
You can modify the naming of scanned docs, pics.
God Bless You!
