Samsung I900 bluetooth to Kenwood DNX9140 radio

Kenwood Radio DNX9140
Samsung (Verizon) Omni I900 mobile phone

I have a new Kenwood DNX9140 radio that is very slow to link its bluetooth with my Verizon Samsung Omni phone (Bluetooth mac 0023d6a06bbc). The unit seems to reloaded the entire phonebook into the radio after each call, thus requiring 2 to 3 minutes between each call. This time delay is unacceptable. Additionally the radio is very slow to respond to any command. (1 to 3 seconds to respond to a touch screen Command) How can these problems be fixed?

Yes, but this does not solve my major problem, which is linking my Samsung I900 phone to the radio without having to wait 2 to 3 minutes between calls while the phonebook seems to be reloaded. It seems to re-download the phone book between each call, thus making the bluetooth connection useless for this period.

My biggest problem is that the unit seems to require my Samsung I900 to reload the entire phonebook between calls, thus making the bluetooth connection unavailable for 2 to 3 minutes between calls.

Yes, The main issue is the 2 to 3 minutes between calls while the connection does ????

This should be fixed by disabling auto sync on the phone and radio.

How can i connect Nokia BH-106 to samsung omnia i900.

Hello there...

From what i've read in here:
http://europe.nokia.com/find-products/accessories/all-accessories/headsets/bluetooth-headsets/nokia-bluetooth-headset-bh-106/specifications

The BH-106 specification doesn't mention that it support A2DP. To enable you to hear songs from bluetooth headset you need the one which support A2DP feature.

Quote:
Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) This profile defines how high quality audio (stereo or mono) can be streamed from one device to another over a Bluetooth connection.[1] For example, music can be streamed from a mobile phone to a wireless headset or car audio or from a laptop/desktop to a wireless headset.

Source:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth_profile#Advanced_Audio_Distribution_Profile_.28A2DP.29

And as for listening radio from bluetooth headset/handsfree, I think that it is not possible... since usually radio feature in a handphone need a wire type handsfree as it also function as the radio antenna.

Hope this helps.... :D

KDC-W7537U model number Code for bluetooth

most of the default codes are 1234, 0000, 1111 unless changed by the user. if this doesn't work, you can always do a hard rest of your radio by pressing the small pin hole button on the face of the radio.

hope this helps

How to program bluetooth phone to sony radio cd player

Ok, I have a Sony MEX BT 2600. To pair my phone to the radio, I had to press and hold the BT button for 5 seconds until it flashes, then I have to search for devices on my phone. Xplod comes up. When it does, pair the two and use code 0000. That should do it. Also make sure the BT icon is showing, meaning it is activated for the Sony to connect. When conncted, the radio should show a phone icon for the BT Phone segment of the radio, and then another icon for the BT Audio, both should what looks like radio waves coming off of them, meaning the two devices are connected and recognizing each other.
