your dryer has highlimit switches and a thermal fuse If you think you can do it safely I will help you but the cover must come off and, you must be careful because the machine must be turned on with the cover off

HI, I just replaced an element in this model this morning. Remove the two screws holding front lower pane. The element is in a housing under the drum (right side). Check voltage to the two terminals while dryer is running and you should get 240V. If there is no voltage, you need to test the continuity of the thermostasts and safety on the blower housing (With dryer unplugged)
If there is voltage to the element, the element will need replaced. Part# 3387747. I have them on sale on my web site for $31.95 @ www.whirlpoolpartssurplus.com

I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks
Vic

90 series will not stay running or heat

DO NOT KEEP THE BUTTON PUSHED IN AND RUN IT...It's the motor relay and the even heat board in the console. By keeping the button in, you're bypasssing a safety feature and could cause fire. It won't heat like that anyway. Repl. the relay witht the small blue wires and the board in the console and you should be fine.

Your ignitor (glow bar) got broken during the move. They are more fragile than your grandmother's fine china
