- no noises...nothing...just blinking green light.

did you try to uplug and plug back up?
i had that problem.
it was a short(i know because i cause the short)
i had a old motherboard dell celeron 2.0ghz and i just was bored and started touching metal to metal and it started to blink so check your motherboard
