Firstly clean the Print head with Isopropyl Alchohol and a cotton bud, do not use any sharp objects or fingernails. Next set the printer driver to change the print darkness to a higher level, there should be no reason to go darker than 20. I would imagine you have changed the ribbon for something like Wax to a Premuim Wax Resin which take more heat to transfer the ink.

Try slowing down the print speed to 2 ips. Then increase the speed. Usually, this is a problem of exceeding the limits of the printer. The faster you print, the weaker the print. With a ribbon that is matched to the label stock, you will have an optimum speed for best performance.

If you are not seeing any drop in the print, it is not the printhead. What does a Pause test look like? At 2 ips.

Were the new labels thermal paper? Thermal printers need specially made paper to work right.

Tlp 2844 printer is callibrating is proper but not getting the print in stickers & checked the ribbon.

You need to set the label size in the driver or it will not layout on the calibrated label correctly. the default zebra size is 2x4 so if you have a smaller label it will print across 2 labels as the driver thinks it has a 4 in long label

Zebra Z4 Error message

ribbon in means, you choose direct thermal print method which is printing without a ribbon and yet you print with thermal transfer print method.

just check on lcd panel , change the print method to thermal transfer. and make sure the setting on your driver is thermal transfer too, or else it will keep reverting back to direct thermal

Poor Quality Print on Zebra 105SL direct thermal

How many labels has the printer printed? Because it sounds to me like you just need to replace the print head.

They are around $400 from whomever your supplier is, and very easy to replace.
