I WANT TO FIT A STEREO TO MY PUG 306, BUT THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAS CHOPPED THE ORIGINAL WIRING & PLUGS SO IM UNABLE TO WORK OUT THE CORRECT COLOURS TO GO WHERE

Need to no what colours cables u have would be easy to talk u through it on the phone.but here we go anyway red is power and yellow is constant power (for memorey ie radio stations )back is earth. blue is remote for an amp to turn it on vier the head unit.and all the rest are speaker cables ie two greens two purple two black and two grey colour.but your peugeot electrial harness mite be different colours though thats why its better to talk on the phone about it let me no an illl let u have me number hope this helps.

Easist way to solve that problem is ,go get enouther harness for it from a auto wrecker from the same kind of car, Then the wires will all match up, Just reconnect one buy one at a time,

My roof wont operate on my r reg 306 convertable

May be split wires in drivers door a pillar. Is a common fault on 306's poor design. I could not lock my doors because of the split wires. Maybe worth a look.

Car stereo

the colors for the radio that are hooked up to the car are

orange is power
red is egnition
blue is power antena
black is ground

other ones will most likely be the sterio wires you just need to find colors that look a like and they will most likely match

Peugeot sterio code

You need to ring the Peugeot Dealers, as I had that problem with my Nissan radio on my Nissan. The dealers were able to immediately provide me with the right code to input and radio has worked no problem since. When I disconnect battery I always need to re-input the same code.
If your Blaupunkt wasn't Manufacturer fitted, then whoever of your previous owners who fitted the stereo would have the code, or have you tried Blaupunkt themselves, don't know if they keep codes?
