Question about Nokia 445 Pro 21" CRT Monitor
I have a windows 2000 professional nt server it is kind of pieced together i was given a Nokia 445pro monitor but i have i think an old video card because yhe highest it goes in display settings is 800 x 600 with 16 bit color it says that the adapter is unavailable and that i need to find the right drivers from the manufact in the systems does not seem to recognize the monitor as an Nokia 445pro but all it says is "VGA Default Monitor. I would like to correct this problem because i am hoping that it will fix the poor quality i have in my display. Pictures are reealy fuzzy and hard to make out, the text is garbled and hard to read and the colors very limited
This monitor albiet old can do a whooping 1800 x 1440 resolution. I don't think that the monitor is your problem at this point but your Video card. What type of video card do you have in your system and are the drivers correctly installed for them. You can find the drivers for the monitor at http://tom.viewsonic.com/support/drivers/drivers.cfm?category=3&formName=monitor
