Question about Televison & Video
Ok as per the fuse location.its exactly located on the main power supply board.but as per me its not the fuse problem anyway, because if the fuse is faulty then nothing will light up on the front led of the tv.as you mentioned the red light comes ON, on the front pannel of the tv.that means fuse is not all faulty.but its confirmed problem of power supply board.as the tv is receiving the power but not supplying the power to the circuit board.so its not working.
connecting new power supply is not all a hard job.it just has few wires plugged in the tv.you will have to pull the plugged wire from the old power supply unit and plug the same wires from the new power supply unit in the same place where old power supply wires were plugged in.mark the wires before removing them so you dont make any mistake while reconnecting the new power supply unit wires.
this is the direct link from where you can order the power supply for your tv
click the link directly
this is the power supply unit you have to order from the link.it is compitable to your unit and will support you tv AKAI LCT2715 PCB - POWER SUPPLY MAIN HY342-5991-09C

You can google AKAI power supply, buy it and open the TV and replace it.
You'll need solder and some soldering experiance. Or you can get a TV repairman to fix it.

B+ over current protection (OCP), unit goes to the standby mode then displays the 2 blink fault. Could be a short in the power supply of any of the circuits.
After you repair the unit, you MUST clear the values on this diagnostic screen. These codes do not reset themselves after the fault is corrected, so if you don't clear them, you'll be seeing "old" fault codes the next time you enter this screen. Clearing is done by going into the service mode (display, channel, 5, volume plus, then power ). Press 8 and Enter, which returns everything to the factory preset condition.
