HI. i recommend checking the compressor for its operational value. if the compressor is not cycling at all, this will confirm compressor failuer. if it is cycling and, it is not cooling, this will confirm a low charge rate. it will need to be recharge in this case.
To clarify. If the compressor is running in a three minute interval and is not cooling, this compressor has failed. the internal seals have ruptured. check for any abnormal noises as well.

- That can be a sign of a running compressor but, you will need to observe the cycle. it should come on and off in a cycle. if the cycle is rapid, this will confirm a low charge level. if the cycle is consistent and only last for 3 minutes at a time, this will confirm compressor failure. the seals are bad.To clarify.
