My CLP-510 was working fine for about 4 months. Then one day I did a
print job and after about 1 hour noticed a smell of burning electrical.
When I placed my hand on top of the printer it felt very hot! Turned
off the printer using the button on control panel but fuser stayed on.
Had to unplug printer to stop over heating. Any thoughts on this matter?

Samsung fuser units are very suceptible to voltage variations and get damaged easily. The fuser's thermofuse probably got damaged and became unable to read temperature. The only way to get it fis is to replace the fuser in an Authorized Service Center (ASC). Your unit has a 1 year complete warranty coverage by Samsung and any real ASC without charging you. After the unit is fixed, get a good transient surge suppresor to help protect the unit. Good luck.
