My comouter asks for a password when trying to reboot. How can I bypass the password?
something went wrong with my computer.I lost my windows xp program. Ineed to reinstall windows xp, but whenever I TRY TO reboot ,the computer asks for a password and I dont have one. How can I bypass this password and get my computer going again?

Try TOSHIBA as the password. It works on most of their laptops. I'm not sure about desktops but it's worth a shot! :) Also try holding ESC while it's booting before the password prompt comes up. That sometimes works too. Good luck!
