Charging problem? I have plugged the TekNmotion Airhead 1000 wireless headphones into a USB port to charge for over 24 hours. The red light continues to be on when plugged into a USB port. When I pull the headphones from the USB I am not able to turn on the headphones (push button, but no power). I am able to get the headphones to work only if they are plugged into a USB. This defeats the purpose or wireless. Help, please.

It is brand new! I have no idea of where the battery in the TekN ekNmotion Airhead 1000 wireless headphones is located and how to change it.

All right. Light is bright red. I will let it charge (supposedly) overnight and check in the morning. Thanks.

The battery in the headphones is most likely not taking a charge anymore and will need to be replaced with an equal value rechargeable battery

Insignia Bluetooth headphones will not hold a charge. How can this be fixed. Lately the charge has lasted only an hour or so, now it is down to a few minutes. Model NS-CAHBTEB01

More than likely the rechargeable internal battery has leaked electrolyte, reducing the Ah ("Amp-hour") capacity.
Try to remove the cover to see if battery is leaking, looking like crusty dry salt.
Even if not leaking, the rechargeable cells have a limited lifespan.
If battery, this needs renewal of same V and Ah.

Hi. I just purchased the insignia digital wireless headphones for my boyfriend and the headphones won't charge properly. It says to put the on the dock station and the red light will stay on(up to 4 hours)...

If the red light is on for such a short period of time, it probably means that the headphones are charged. The red light will flash for a long time and then turn green only when you charge on the dock headphones that need charging. I suggest to try to use them without charging them and see if the headphones work.

Plantronics audio 995H wireless headset not charging when plugged into computer. It does not show a red light for charging. When turned on it stays blue for several seconds then flickers red for 2 or

38cafd7a-6060-4717-bc4f-b4db91cc266a.jpgI recently fixed my 955 headphones... it's probably not going to be attempted by most folks, but it saved a great set of headphones from being tossed and replaced.

Basically you need to remove the right side padding and take out the 3 screws. This gets you access to the battery. The battery is a standard 3.6V lithium battery. Pretty much the same that is in most cell phones and many small toys. You can simply replace the battery with something like:

Or... here's what I did... add a lithium USB charger to the battery.

Now, if the battery dies I can plug it into USB and the phone will work while it charges.
