The best advice I have to offer for the Vizio VBR120 is to replace it with a better player from LG, Sony or Samsung. I replaced mine with a LG BR540 and haven't looked back. With Vizio you get what you pay for, junk. There is no update for a Vizio VBR120.

Found out there isn't any update available and there never will be. My suggestion is get rid of the player and NEVER buy Vizio again. While you're at it tell all your friends and family not to buy Vizio either. I know I'll never buy another Vizio device and never recommend them to fri

I had this problem and found a problem with the power supply. The 100 uF, 400 volt electrolytic capacitor was bad. I replaced it and everything works fine.

I can't get my VBR334 to keep subtitles ON. After I turn on subtitles, if I (a) pause playback, (b) hit the Next button or (c) Fast Forward, the subtitles go away. I have spent many cell minutes with Vizio and even got a replacement unit. Once I updated the firmware, the subtitles started breaking. Anyone else hit this problem?
