Hi,
I had this problem and just went to my local diy shop and they sold me a nut, bolt and washer. You just need to make sure it'll fit in the hole. Cost me 15p!

How do you replace the foot rest on a Maclaren Quest stroller?

found a suggestion on ebay...Replacement FOOTREST for the MACLAREN TWIN TECHNO

colour grey

in excellent condition NO SPLITS

the price is for one footrest as i have 2 for sale

these will probably fit other buggys too

PLEASE NOTE; because these are riveted onto the frame they have had to be drilled off this is very easy to do and replace, all you do is drill out the rivets then replace this footrest with a suitable nut and bolt (not included)

I have a grey Maclaren Techno XT umbrella stroller. Plastic rainprotection was included when we bought it. Can't figure out how to put it on though, and we don't have the maunal anymore. Can anyone help us...

hi have you figured this out?

if not here goes
open up raincover there should be a flap towards the top this just hooks on the front of the hood and should have 1 hole either side which pop over stud on the hood the rest of the cover will fall to footrest of buggy where it will attatch to the frame at the bottom.

here is a picture with it fitted to the buggy

How do i attach the raincover to the maclaren major elite buggy

TO FIT THE RAIN APRON
The rain apron can only be used in conjunction with the fitted sunshade.
The rain apron may be fitted with or without the footrest attached.
A Place the rain apron over the attached sunshade with the ventilation vents on each side of the
sunshade.
B Attach the six eyelets (three each side) to the corresponding pins located on the sunshade, rear legs
and front legs.
C Place the rear apron flap between ‘X’ tubes and seat back. Attach the two poppers

I cant fold my maclaren twin buggy!

I will try to explain this best I can without actually having it in front of me. First off, start on one side or the other, doesnt matter which, take the top of your foot and pull up on the metal supports on the bottom of the back side of teh seat. You want to pull up in the center, under where the plastic "step" looking piece is. repeat this on the other side. Then you will push down on the littel lever that sticks out of the right side of the buggy. This releases the lock. Usually, you will then have to pull up again with your foot in the same place as before and push the handles of the stroller forward. The buggy should collapse. You may try some 3-in-1 oil, silicone spray or Pledge furniture pilish on the lever and "joints" to make it fold a little more smoothly.
