Access denied to my all users/Documents

C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersDocuments is not accessible.
Access is denied.
How can this be? I'm the administrator. I'm trying to grant access to the other users to an application. I'm running XP.

Try booting up in safe mode, log in as the administrator. Then go into the security settings for that particular folder (right click, properties, etc) and check/change the settings. Reboot and try again.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Hello,

If you are trying to get to your 'Recent Documents'. Then i think you should try entering 'Recent documents' instead of the former. Hope this helps.

Access denied to documents and settings folder

The account that you are accessing; is it an Admin account, and now from the very account you are trying to access that account is a limited one, Is that so?

If that is the scenario, then there are ways through which you can get an admin access, but IF those files aren't there or are corrupted, then that is something else.

I'm waiting for your response...
Also get the properties of that account folder and tell me that folder size, to have an idea that is there something in it.

Regards, WAQAR.

Can not login on normal mode and when i type in my password its says profile server not found and i have to do it on safe mode and i can not access my files, pictures or documents why is this.

You need to create a new user profile in safe mode and then log into that profile in the normal mode. and for accessing your old files you need to follow the following path c:/documents and settings/user name
and if you get an access denied error follow the following article

Denying permissions to other users

You can make your Documents folder private from restricting the users access. You can do this while creating the user account.

Otherwise simply right click on the folder that you want to protect and go to Properties -> Security -> Edit -> add the user name -> enable deny permission
