How to turn off subtitles on DVD?
Subtitles can be turned on or off by pressing the SUBTITLE button on the remote control while the disc is playing. NOTE: Not all discs have subtitles. Make sure that the packaging of the disc specifies that it has subtitles.

You should be able to select the subtitles off on the main menu of any DVD you are watching. Nearly all DVD's have the ability to set the audio language.
I can't get my VBR334 to keep subtitles ON. After I turn on subtitles, if I (a) pause playback, (b) hit the Next button or (c) Fast Forward, the subtitles go away. I have spent many cell minutes with Vizio and even got a replacement unit. Once I updated the firmware, the subtitles started breaking. Anyone else hit this problem?
