The easiest way is to change 1 at a time and watch where it came from, so you can go back with it. 1 should have a filter on the end that goes in the tank.

I need the fuel line routing for an 07 chevy avalanche with 5.3L engine. Which line on the fuel pump is the pressure line? where does it go from pump?

Bruce, look for the fuel line running along frame rail with the gas filter attached, this will be the high pressure fuel line that feeds the engines fuel rail/injectors. searched the net and could not find a lot on the fuel lines for Avalanche. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Fuel line on MAC 3516 is broken. Where to get the new one and the fuel filter? How to replace the fuel line?

Hi szeldovich
You can pick up fuel line at any small engine shop/supply house.
One trick to insert the fuel line into the tank is to fold it the end to make it smaller than the hole in the tank...also put a little wd40 or vaseline on it to make it easy to pull/push.
Always insert more fuel line into the tank than is needed, as you have to reinsert the fuel filter back into the line and pull it into the tank again.
Here is a picture of how to route the fuel lines.

Where is a 1989 nissan z24 4 wheel drive fuel regulator located? starter went bad, replaced it, fuel line had a leak, replaced it, fuel pump wont push fuel through it, bought a new one and now the truck...

Fuel reg. is connected to the fuel rail where the return line is connected, my thoughts are you mentioned air in your lines.. crack open fuel lines and run fuel pump to release air from lines. Pump then should prime all lines must be primed turn engine over to release air ( No Smoking) then tighten lines. fuel rail might have valve, (looks like tire valve) if so it is recommended that air is relieved at air valve

Need to replace fuel lines on my Troy Bilt gas hedge trimmer. Where can I get replacement fuel lines... or better yet... what size are the lines and where can I buy a few feet of the lines. Note: I...

Replacement fuel lines should be readily available at your local lawnmower repair shop. Your TroyBilt hedger uses fuel line that is 3/32" (2.4mm) interior dimension, 3/16" (4.8mm) outside dimension, with a 3/64" (1.2mm) wall dimension.
Most manufacturers don't offer replacement line, only fuel tank assemblies. Find your local shop, and try to get the TYGON brand...it is yellow. Tygon lasts the longest. You should be able to buy it by the foot for less than $2 per foot. You will need 2 feet of hose to replace both lines.

Make sure to clean the in-tank filter when replacing hoses.

Good luck.

Fuel line replacement on Poulon 2050 14 inch Gas Chain Saw

First rule is to replace only one line at a time. Needle nose pliers is the only tool you should need. Replace the fuel line from the filter in the tank to the carburetor by removing the filter from the line, extract the line out of the tank, and remove the other end from the carburetor. Use the old line to measure for the replacement. Measure the point where the old line passed through the tank wall down to the filter connection. Mark this point on the new line, and push the line into the tank far enough to attach the filter (which you have checked for plugging), then pull the line back out to the mark. Make sure that you use the proper line for this connection as the filter must flop around to the lowest tank level so that the saw doesn't run dry of fuel when operated on it's side. The other connections are straight forward--just replace one at a time. Don't be stingy in making looping turns as you don't want future kinks. Hope this helps!

Should I leave a small peice of fuel line in the gas tank ?

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.

Ok.. We need your help here. I understand your going to replace a fuel line. Depending on what make and model your doing the fuel line replacement on the procedures are different. Some connect to the tank outlet. Some connect to the fuel tank screen pick up
others connect to a fuel shut off valve. They all end at the carburetor.

If you do a like part replacement the only thing you have to be concerned with is that it does not leak after you install the new line. What is most important is that you make sure to clamp both connecting ends of the new line. Fuel lines rapidly get hard and will leak causing the possibility of a fire during use / personal injury. I have repaired numerous BURNED units that early in the mowing season the owner had replaced the fuel line and by July or August it caught fire because they did not install the clamps or the right clamp when they replaced the fuel line. It isn't a difficult task.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Kelly

(If you need more details I need a make and Model number to be of any further assistance to you.)
