Sunbeam sfh7111 heater won't turn on

I've followed the troubleshooting steps in the manual to reset the heater. Still not working. Light ring still flashes but nothing else happens. There seems to be a rattle coming from inside when I shake the unit.

SOURCE: mr heater 75,000 btu kerosene heater

I got this error when I had increased my air pressure to 5.5 lbs. Cut the pressure back to 4.5 and it has been running fine for the last three hours. At 5.5 it got WARM ... solid red hot cone and flames coming around the outside. Had been having problems with it cutting off for no apparent reason in really cold weather. Took the pump apart and cleaned it and checked for clearances and reassembled but it did not help much. Will schedule it for a total pump replacement with new filters asap. Pump parts and filter are not that bad. Should come in under $50.00
Hope this helps
I also turned the thermostat back a little off of full on.

SOURCE: Problem w/ Optimus space heater model H-4438.

I have the same problem. I removed the center panel on the back of the dish and found a fuse inside a white insulating sleeve. The fuse is open, preventing the current from reaching the heating coils. On the fuse it says 121 C. and 15 A.; I assume that it is designed to blow if the temp. of the dish exceeds 121 centigrade or the current exceeds 15 Amps. I don't see any reason to believe that either has happened so I suspect that these fuses just spontaneously fail. Now I just need to find a source for new ones. I wouldn't recommend jumping the fuse as it could lead to a fire.

SOURCE: Inside Electric Furnace/Air Handler Not Working. Please help!

ok this can be simple or tricky is the breaker that trips the same size as the one in the breaker panel 2.look in the unit itsself see if there r breakers inside the unit there usually are and they might have tripped it might be as simple as flipping a breaker but the problem with the breaker tripping is what concerns me now it may just be undersized or getting weak and finally crapped out get ur meter and flip the breaker on and see if u r getting power to the unit if ur not u have gott a breaker that isnt letting power go thru now if u have power u might have a bad blower motor turn the unit on and calling for the fan on if the fan doesnt start try spinning the blower by hand now if it starts then u probably have a bad capacitor they r usually mounted on the side of the blower housing it is oval and its gonna be a 5mfd(microfarad) or 7.5mfd and that couldve been what was kicking the breaker now if the blower is stuck and it wont turn or its very hard to turn then make sure the blower wheel hasnt slipped on the shaft and is rubbing up against the housing if it is just loosen the set screw and set it back even and tighten it back up now if the wheel is free and its still hard to turn then u have a bad blower motor its not a big deal to change out and not real expensive if this dont help hit me back and well walk thru it hope this gets lil momma and the pets warm have a good day

Sunbeam SFH8111 Heater Will Not Turn On

These heaters are notorious for having their safeties fail which means opening, thus not allowing operation. I have bypassed these for my shop use under supervised operation only and I cannot recommend that you do so as it is not safe by UL standards, we are never to bypass any safety other than to bypass temporarily. Once these units are bypassed they typically run for years with no further issues, the safeties are their weakest link, they are servicable yet may not be worth the time delay to obtain the OEM limit/safety and replacement is the best option at this juncture.

My light won't ignite on my mpi 441 monitor

the pilot light is off but I'm not sure if it's suppose to be while not running.I've tried priming it with three pumps, resetting by unplugging, beleeding the line, all don't work.
it's suppose to be 22f tonight so I could sure use some help.
oh, I have a manual but, of course, it doesn't cover the problem. I also called the company but got a voice mailbox...go figure.

Pilot light is lit but won't turn on water heater

What band and type water heater do you have? And about how old is the water heater? Add a comment with more information.

Following general information applies to tank-type residential water heater.
If pilot light is working, then thermocouple is good. Otherwise, if thermocouple was bad, or fallen out of place, then there would be no pilot flame.
Carefully read instructions for lighting water heater located on front of tank ... make sure you have the gas control valve set to ON.
At this point, troubleshoot varies widely depending if your water heater is older and air enters front of heater, or if water heater was made after 2007-9 and has sealed combustion chamber and FV system.'
Troubleshoot also varies widely depending if you have power vent and which type of gas control valve.

Possibly the air intake located at bottom of heater needs to be cleaned with feather duster under water heater.
Read your product manual for steps.

Pilot light will not relight. Went through the steps but nothing happened.

There is no single sure-fire answer for pilot light:

Open following link for pilot light troubleshoot, including generic troubleshoot steps, Reliance troubleshoot handbook showing how to test parts, generic images showing how to clean burner and combustion parts:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-install-gas-water-heater.html#troubleshoot

Cleaning combustion parts may be solution, and bleed air out of gas line. Make sure gas line shut off handle is parallel with gas line, and not turned off.
Piezoelectric igniter might be bad.
Thermocouple assembly could be bad.
ECO or thermal switch tripped because of overheating event. On newer models push in the small reset button located on combustion chamber door. It is a round plastic piece with 2 wires attached and tiny push button in middle. Older model might require gas control valve thermostat replacement.
FVIR event from exposure to flammable vapor has shut down water heater.
Gas control valve thermostat is bad.

Typical Whirlpool manual has information, including pilot light troubleshoot starting page 26, and instructions for removing manifold door cover:
