I have the same issue, even worse, my alarm goes off too. So phone shows signal bars and alarm icon, but nothing works until I switch it off and on. This is starting to be a huge problem because I rely on that alarm to wake me in the morning for my job. I'm seriously thinking of selling it or destroying it

there is nothing you can do to the phone that will make the stores alarms to stop going off. it is the sensors inside the alarm system of the store that causes it to go off.

Alarm problems

When creating a new alarm, the LG Shine will start with the "Set Time" function where you can set a 15 minutes alarm jump (by moving the navigation button horizontally). If not desired, you can go one step down onscreen to set the alarm time manually. If you accidentally jump back to the 15 minutes jump method in the previous function, it will automatically postpone the alarmsetting with 15 minutes increments again. Please verify you don't use that function by accident while setting up the alarm time manually. If all of this is not the case, I would suggest to return the phone because there could be a problem with the phone or software.

Alarm clock, LG Shine phone

I just "personalised" the outdoor profile to set the message alert to silent, while still keeping the ring volume on high.
I also picked the divert call option so the phone doesn't ring.
So I just change the phone profile before I go to sleep and divert my calls.
Kind of an awkward solution..I'm considering getting an alarm clock or just using my old phone's alarm clock

Alarm Clock

I understand what you mean, the problem is with the battery, when it fall down, something inside it keeps making that trouble come.
I suggest you to go back and change the battery, than your phone will work for good.
