There is a short circuit on your motherboard. This is why the power adapter switched off (thermal cutout) and resets after you remove the adapter from the wall power outlet.
You need a new motherboard.

I ran out of wild coins ani fergot my password so now I cant get eney

I am assuming by your description above is that you are unable to enter the system setup and bios because you have a password for the motherboard. If it is a motherboard password the easiest way to get back to the setup screen is to take the cover off look at the motherboard, you will or should see a round quarter size battery possibly two carefully take it or them out for ten minutes, unplug the PC then push the power switch on to make sure all stored power is expelled. Now put the battery or batteries back in, plug the pc in and turn it on you should be able to get back into the motherboard setup screen. Of course you will have to redo the password.

Powers up but screen is black, so I am unable to see what is happening as far as window, or bios. Tried to connect vga connected monitor no picture either.

Try to drain the static in your motherboard. Please follow this procedure:

take out the battery
unplugged the power adapter
press and hold the power button for 30 secs
put the battery back in
plugged in the power adapter
turn on the computer

This procedure will darin the static of the motherboard. If same issue will happen then you need to contact your coputer's manufacturer for repair service.

How's the status light of your computer monitor? is it blinking amber? and the status light of your computer tower's power button? blinking amber as well or solid green or no light at all?

1. Disconnect all the connection at the back of your computer tower
2. Press the power button of the computer tower for 15 seconds
3. Reconnect the power button and the monitor cable at the back of your computer tower and turn on the computer (if it turned on that means that one of the device plugged at the back of your computer tower is faulty)
4. If still the same problem, open up your computer tower.
5. Reseat the video card, Reseat Hard drive, Reseat Memory, Reseat CPU, Reseat power cord coming from the CPU to your computer (doing all things one-by-one to pin-point the root cause of the issue)

If none of the troubleshooting steps fixed the problem, possible that the power supply is faulty and if the power supply is faulty sometimes it goes with the motherboard.

Hp Pavilion a350n shutdown and will only boot up to a blankscreen, (no Windows logo) there is not beep, no indication of any problem, power is good, video card is good (tried three cards), switch monitors,...

I assume by power is good you mean when you press the power button on the pc it spins up.

1) unplug all the components such as hard drive, floppy and USB from the motherboard.
(so you should only have the VGA, monitor and motherboard with RAM and CPU.) turn it on and see if you get a screen. if you don't there is possibly a problem with the motherboard.

if you do get some display on the screen 2) switch off and plug in one component at a time and then switch back on. if it works turn it off and plug in the next component and turn it back on. repeat until you find the faulty component that cause it to not turn on.

IF you have another power supply you can use, try it and see if the computer will power up.

My tower has power but won't come on

first guess is the motherboard is bad

a few things you can try:

unhook the monitor from the computer and test it on another computer. If the monitor works then its most likely the motherboard.

leave the computer unplugged for a few hours then plug it back up and give it another try just in case it overheated.

have the computers power supply tested as a bad power supply can cause all sorts of issues.

other than that you are down to a new motherboard and or a new computer.
