Question about Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2) Console
My slimline powers on and when I put a disc in I can hear it spinning. I don't see anything on the screen though. I've tried 3 different aerial cables and it does go to a black screen but nothing. Its almost as if the aerial connection isn't correctly attached. I don't know how to open it to have a look do you have any ideas?
Sometimes its hard to start tv-games (ps2, gamecube) since you have to put it on 'video', and other stuff. Depending on your tv you might have 'input 1,2, and 3' instead of 'video'. just keep changing settings, and if you have your 'tri-cable' into a vcr try pressing the vcr power button.

You mean A/V ( Audio /Visual)cables. This could be several things. Motherboard bad. A/V Socket on back of Slim has a bad connection to the motherboard. Try it on another TV, you may have a bad input on the TV. You selected the wrong input on the TV. The channel is not set properly on the TV.
The first two can be repaired by a Technician that knows about Playstation Repair and has plenty of Current experince.I run the website www.playstationclinic.com, and will charge up to $51 to repair this, if it is related to the first two possible problems.
