Question about Apple iPod 4th Generation MP3 Player

1 Answer

The volume on the ipod (4th gen) seems to change on its own. WTF!

Seems the volume is increasing and decreasing on its own. Did I forget a step when downloading songs?

The volume may change depending upn the quality of the songs that you may have downloaded...one way to fix that is to go to itunes...edit...preferences...click on playback and check the sound check option...this will adjust the sound levels of all songs automatically...you can even change individual song volumes....right click the song that you want to change in your library...go to get info...options...and there you can adjust the volume of the song or even define preset equalizers for any particular song...hope im of help :)

Very low volume on a brand new ipod touch what should i do to fix this problem

Turn on Ipod, on the left hand side there is a volume control switch. While you are on a song, hold the top of the volume control switch to increase the volume.
If that does not work then touch "settings", then touch "music" and make sure your "Volume Limit" is set to "Off", if it is not touch "Volume Limit" and set it to "Off".

How can I use JVC AVX810 with Iphone? Currently IPOD works fine with the USB cable but IPHONE is not recognised. Maybe there is an adaptor that can solve it?

JVC KS-PD100 iPod Interface Adapter (257KSPD100, sold separately). This optional iPod Interface Adapter supports audio playback for the following iPod models - iPod click-wheel (3rd gen), iPod photo (4th gen), iPod mini (1st/2nd gen), iPod nano (1st/2nd/3rd/4th gen), iPod video (5th gen), and iPod classic (80/120/160GB). The KS-PD100 is not compatible with the iPod touch (1st/2nd/3rd gen), iPod nano (5th gen), or iPhone (2G/3G/3GS). This iPod interface will also not charge the iPod nano (4th generation). *Apple firmware updates may change functionality results.

There u go.....

Ipod nano volume control

Try
  1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Apple Ipod Nano 3rd Gen Volume troubles

Seems like a manufacturers fault on your click wheel. The new nano's have their click wheels held in place with just a strong adhesive so this one might be slightly out of place.Take it straight back as faulty. Make sure inside your headphone socket isn't red else Apple will say it's water damaged.
