Question about Dodge 1997 Ram 1500
It starts up good you drive it a few milles then starts skiping and sucking air like its running out of gas then after sets awhile starts and does the same thing
A clogged fuel filter would cause this. If a replacement filter doesn't cure the problem, it would be a good idea to check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail. A bad fuel pump will cause the same symptom. Fuel pump failures are quite common in 1990s Dodge products.
