RCA RT2911 Home theater with AV receiver

I bought a refurbished RCA RT2911 Home theater system. It is under warranty. But I dont want to ship it back to the seller for a replacement as the return shipping isnt free. I want to see if it ca be repaired for free as it has both parts/labor warranty. The problem is the receiver keeps making a loud vibrating noise as soon as its switched on.

You will have to ask the seller whether local repair, possibly at an authorized service facility, is acceptable.

Thanks for the response. Why should I contact the seller? The warranty is from the manufacturer. Trying to see if there are any authorized repair centers for RCA Home theaters. Will need to contact the manufacturer on Monday as Cust service center is closed for the day today.

I have bought a 5.1 home theater with an av receiver and i want it connect to my computer. So how should i connect it ?

Just find the output of the computer's sound card and it should have a microphone style female connector that you plug a male connector into. The other end should have rca phono jacks that can accept stereo or left and right 2.1 connections. If you want 5.1 home theater from this signal, it may be possible or may not be possible depending on the input of the 5.1 home theater system.

I dont know how to connect the wii to my rx-465 receiver.

The Wii AV cable should have a red/white pair of Audio Output jacks on it.
Check out pg. 8 of the Wii manual:
Connect the red/white RCA plugs from the AV cable to a line level audio input on your receiver. If you use AUX IN, then select AUX IN on the INPUT selector switch. You should then hear the sound from the Wii through your receiver/home theater system.
