Lexmark x5495 not feeding paper

There could be something that's blocking the paper path. Try this approach to fix the problem:
  1. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder. Make sure there are no foreign objects inside the feeder - try to use a flashlight to look into the paper feeder.
  2. Remove the cartridges from the printer. Check the cartridge area and make sure there are no foreign objects blocking the paper path and the cartridge carrier path. Close the printer.
  3. Re-brick your printer. Remove the power adapter from the printer (it's the black box found behind the printer where the power cord is plugged into). Re-plug the power adapter after 30 seconds. That should give enough time for the printer to reset itself.
  4. When the printer turns on, re-insert the cartridges and load some paper.
  5. Try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
Should the problem continue, please contact Lexmark Technical Support for additional assistance.

My printer X3350 has trouble grabbing the paper from the paper tray. What can is the problem. I tried cleaning the grabber wheel. But it still won't grab the paper.

Leading cause of paper jams is debris/foreign objects that accidentally fell into the paper feed area. Please follow steps below to fix the problem:

1. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder.

2. Grab a flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.

3. If you're willing and physically able, you may also turn the printer over. Any debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.

4. If feeder is clear, place the printer back on the table, open the printer cover and remove the cartridges.

5. Check the cartridge area for any obstructions/debris in the cartridge carrier's path or the paper path.

6. If cartridge area is clear, close the cover.

7. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.

8. When the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

Z1380 green power light flashing constantly. Cartridges not returning to right hand side of printer. No printing possible.

The flashing light on your printer could indicate either a paper jam or a cartridge problem. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder. Open the printer cover and remove the cartridges. While cover is open, check for any obstructions in the cartridge carrier's path. Close the cover. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, insert one cartridge first. Close the cover and check for any errors. If none, re-insert your other cartridge. Replace whichever cartridge is causing the error to appear. You can also try to insert a different known working cartridge to determine if the other is faulty. If cartridges are fine, load some paper (avoid overloading). Also, use the specified paper types and sizes for your model. Try to print again.

Wat is an LSU error on a phaser 3200 MFP

Change the toner cartridge , i have many units phaser3200 and this is one of the problem , but only if the toner cartridge is very old and many time refilled , if not , change the Laser unit .

  1. Remove a misfed document if the copier displays a message reading "Document Jam." Lift up the document feeder cover and turn the roller to remove an Exit Misfed document. Lower the document feeder back into place and feed the document through again. If the document is jammed on the Input side, open the cover and gently pull the misfed document to the right and out of the feeder.
  2. Pull out the paper tray and lift the tray to release it from the copier if the copier displays a message reading "Paper Jam O." Remove the jammed document, and open and close the side panel of the copier to clear the error message.
  3. Unplug the power cord and plug it back in again if the copier displays a message reading "Fuser Error, Open Heat Error, Heating Error and Overheat." If the problem persists, call for a service.
  4. Remove the toner cartridge and shake it from side to side if the copier displays a message reading "No Developer Cartridge." If this does not do the trick, you may need to replace the cartridge. Pull the release latch to open the side cover, and open the front cover. Twist the cartridge locking-lever upwards and remove the toner cartridge. Insert the new cartridge and lock the lever into place. Shut the front cover and the side cover.
  5. Power off the unit and power it on again if the copier displays a message reading "LSU Error." A problem has occurred with the Laser Scanning Unit. If the problem persists, call for a service.

Wont print

These machines can be a little finiky when replacing the paper in them try to take some of the paper off of the pile then take the paper your going to load and stand it on end and tap it like you would a deck of cards then turn it side ways and do the same. Once you do this reinsert paper and gently move paper back and forth into the feeding tray then try again, it has to make it to the paper feeder sensor to work then try again if it does not work let me know and I will try to help you some more on trouble shooting. You can also go to http//www.hp.com insert your model number and search paper feed problems and it will give you step by step instructions to sovle your problems. Thanks for using fix-ya.

If the printer has been unused for a considerable time the cartridges may have become blocked with dried ink.

Remove the cartridge(s). Take a slightly dampened cotton bud or piece of kitchen paper and carefully wipe the copper coloured surface on the cartridge(s). Then wipe with a dry piece of kitchen paper.

Re-insert the cartridge(s) and perform the print head cleaning function in your printer control panel.

Now try printing.
