SOURCE: No sound, I need a multimedia audio

You can download the drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop, better still,
type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on the bottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Tag label is
missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages, the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where the specific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Click on this link: -

Password admin bios

Reset the CMOS by unplugging your Optiplex from the power cable & removing the CMOS battery.
The CMOS battery is just a larger "watch battery" about the size of a nickel. Remove it for a few seconds, put it back in & power it back up. This will reset the BIOS password & restore all the BISO settings to default however.

Diagnostic 1 ,4 and battery lights are stable

That's TWO Problems bro: Your RAM is not SEATED properly and the CMOS Battery is probably very low. Pop the Side panel open with the computer UNPLUGGED. Check to see how many slots of RAM are in the PC. REmove them one at a time, then put them back in carefully, listening for a type of CLICKING sound that indicates proper seating of RAM STICKS. Remove the CMOS battery and install a NEW One. It looks like a NICKEL. After that, plug up the computer with the side panel STILL off to check and see if the lights stop blinking. If they do, shut the computer down again, UNPLUG it and re-fit the side access panel. PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

My optiplex gx520 computer cannot bootup and there is a peep sound coming up when I press the power button. there is all a green light on number 3 and 4. can you help what's exactly happen to my pc please?

It is a memory issue. One of your ram could be bad or isn't seated complelty. If you have more then one ram installed. take out all the ram, and install one ram into the first bank, and rotate the rams to see if you can get it working. If nothing, try resetting your bios by clearing the cmos. take out the battery that is located on your motherboard. It look like a nickel. take this battery out and insert it back in. See if you get anything. If not, then chipset could be bad, and a motherboard replacement is needed.
