2) Update device drivers.

3) Run Reginout scan.

Thanks

My both usb ports r not wrking n hangs when eithr card reader or pen drive is inserted bt works well when tata photon usb port or mouse port or key board port is inserted ?model- EMACHINES E275

Sounds like your laptop's USB ports are not capable of providing enough power to operate your card reader or pen drive. I suggest you buy an active USB hub (one with external power source, rather than the one which draws power from the laptop's USB port), & attach your card reader and/or pen drive to that USB hub.

I have a sony laptop vaio, i need to break the pass wood to unlcuk it, what can i do

Hi ilvaide.

I hope you are referring to the Windows login password.

If I'm correct, let me explain you about the trick to reset the Windows login password.

You may reset the Windows login password by using the Application "Ophcrack".

This Application will reset the Windows login password without deleting any personal data in the User account.

Let me explain you the procedure.

1) You may download the Application from the below link:

http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/download.php?type=livecd

2) Once you have downloaded this Application, please mount the image by using any CD/DVD Mounting Software(Power ISO, Magic ISO etc.,).

3) Then, burn the image to a CD or DVD.

4) Now, please follow the steps which is mentioned in the below link.

http://pcsupport.about.com/od/toolsofthetrade/ss/ophcracksbs.htm

As there are a lot of steps, I have mentioned the direct link.

However, the link has the detailed information including some screenshots.

Please follow the steps mentioned on the page to reset the Windows login password.

Hope this helps.

Please feel free to ask further questions.

Excel versus professional edition 2003

Hi Richard,

take a step back, and notice that they are talking about Microsoft Office Professional 2003, and not Windows XP Professional.

If you try to open an office document, in your case a .XLS file, and it says You need to insert the setup disk, then the install of Office is corrupt, and/or there are missing files that Office cannot locate.

you could cross your fingers and see if you perform a repair on Office.
you do this from Control Panel > Add Remove Programs, Click on MS Office 2003 Professional, and click Change/Remove . when the wizard starts, click Next and choose Repair .
it may still ask for the setup disks, or to browse to the folder where the setup cache files are located.
if this is the case, and you don't have the disk, your only option is to track down someone else who has the disk, or the folder on their c:\ where office offers to save its install files for the future when it might be needed.

I suspect that you did a File Cleanup on your c:\ and either you accidentally deleted the c:\MSOCache folder (which is hidden), or the Clean Up Wizard deleted it for you.

if you know someone with a PC with office 2003, you can copy this hidden file to your flash drive, and then dump the files back onto your computer.

i hope this helps.

Alternatively, you can use Open Office, a free download , fully fledged office suite of applications. not made by microsoft, but similar enough to perform the same tasks without much hassle or relearning.
